Integrated Master Schedule Lead – 2HB led development of the Integrated Master Schedule for the LSI tasks and activites. Personnel duties included creating and maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for the entire LSI program – utilizing both MS Project and Primavera.  2HB was responsible for and participated in tool customizations for ease of maintenance, metrics, analysis (including critical path analysis), and reporting (at both the contract and government level).  The company also provided management for a team of 5 engineers while overseeing and participating in this task.

Forward Deployed Engineer – 2HB personnel are forward deployed to transformational programs to act as liaison between programs and to the LSI program. This involves becoming the Subject Matter Expert on the referenced program and includes the identification and analysis of dependencies between the various integrating programs. Interface between the programs are identified for analysis. 2HB personnel created/maintained program profiles and descriptions, including missions, customers, deployment sites, capability descriptions, testing, context diagrams and high level schedule. 2HB personnel were involved with the enterprise management system (EMS) capability.

Requirements Lead – 2HB personnel lead a team of engineers to perform requirements analysis of the transformational programs. This included requirements related to strategic planning, analysis and development of Intelligence community (IC) interfaces, architecture,  System of System (SoS) integration.

Key Technologies:  MS Project, Primavera, DoDAF, DOORS, Popkin SA, Enterprise Management Systems (EMS), IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Practices.

From Sept 2004 to Sept 2007, 2HB is providing systems engineering, acquisition and program management support to the Enterprise Program Management initiative.  Specialized consulting support is provided where needed. 2HB personnel are involved in the support of the analysis and production services and technology organization, acting as the overall technical lead of an engineering and development team.  This includes system requirement analysis, design and development activities for complex systems.  2HB personnel also guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches and conduct feasibility studies.

Between 1998 and 2000, 2HB designed, developed, and maintained a Java application/applet that generated monthly project reports in text and HTML format.  The project consisted of over 30,000 lines of code and was developed on a Solaris platform for UNIX and Windows NT delivery.  RAPIDS was developed using the Java Development Kit initially as an application and then converted to a digitally signed applet for ease of distribution and maintenance across the defense community.  The tool consisted of a mini-HTML editor, had the capability to e-mail reports to a user defined list of people, and allowed users to save and load reports for future editing and/or report generation.  The code included many custom features including a custom layout manager, a custom list object which allowed for sorting and moving items up and down within the list, a custom calendar component for date data entry, and a custom tag editor for rich text editing.  A complete set of Java documentation was developed and maintained along with a user’s guide and an installation manual.
